Firm
BigelowSands LLC is named after the sands of Bigelows Point on Tuckernuck Island. Dr. Henry Bigelow from Boston bought this western part of Tuckernuck in the 1850's and passed the property to his son William S. Bigelow. In the early 1920's, their house was moved from the western most part of the island to the east side where it stands today as part of the LaFarge House.
Over the years, the point has changed dramatically with erosion and recouping of sand. Investors have learned that markets come and go and its best not to fight them but to understand them. This is the philosophy of BigelowSands LLC.
